Don't wake me.

Well I might just stay inside again

Remember what parties are like

Someone telling you in a loud voice
They once wrote a poem.
Then reply.
If they say we should get together.
Say why?
It’s not that you don’t love them any more.

Working Day

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Ah, I was at work until 7:30 last night. I won't even go there. I was ticked.

To reward myself for being awesome, I visited the ol' Bucks this morning for a grande. I was standing in line and this business dad and I watched as the Roberts Dairy guy came in and proceeded to dump like a stack of boxes 2 miles high onto the floor of a pretty starbucks display. The business dad turned to me and said, "Suddenly I'm loving my job a lot more.." I laughed.

My eyes look like they're bleeding.

So, um, might I say that Courtney Campbell's plaza apartment is by far the best apartment, most cutest, and highest in the jealously factor range than any other apartment I have ever laid eyes on. Thanks Court for seriously making my life last night. I had the best time ever (even though the Chinese soup was water). Can't wait to come and move in.

Have good work days people. I'm a leader.

Holy baby J, Melissa.
My mom is here in the basement as I post. She's asked me 56 times if I'm done on the computer yet. I think she's doing some busy work like unpacking these boxes that my dad got from work. They've been sitting in the basement for 6 months and suddenly she thinks she'll unpack them. Unpack them while commenting on whatever website I'm on.

Welcome home.

Well, I've been home since Monday. Did a little shopping (for myself), watching the Plaza lights turn on (while in mid traffic in perfect position on Ward Parkway), ate about 987 thanksgiving meals (Mom finally threw the food away yesterday night. Mashed Potatoes = Gravel and the turkey was dry, and the banannas in the fruit salad were turning black), played dominos with family (came in second), worked my bunners off at the Pri, and have talked to no friends.

I've been having a real hard time with these headaches lately. Like so bad that it's tough to go about the day. Dad went to the eye doctor and came back with some wisdom from Dr. Duckett: "When you see hoofprints in the sand, don't look for the Zebra, look for the horse." Makes sense. I think I'm gonna live by it. So many times lately, I've worried about everything. Tried to manage everything with 8 million ounces of perfection. And when something would go wrong, it would be so catastrophic to me. Well, no more. I need to freaking relax. And I need to have more massages. If I always think the worst about things then it leaves no hope for tomorrow.
December in Omaha--the ETERNAL OPTIMIST.

This week in OP will be a titch hard and I'll miss Brian dearly. I need to get home and put up the Christmas decorations! And plan New Years 2006, our big formal and fancy food party! And I need work to settle down. Cause lordy be, it's been too busy that it makes me want to eat, and in turn, has made me the largest person, this side of Europe.

I've seen two good movie lately that I would like to reflect upon:
1.) Shopgirl: Hotdog this was a good movie. I've had the book on my shelf for about 5 years and not even got past page 20. It's got Steve Martin, Claire Danes that that moley guy Jason Schwartzman. It's such a simple movie but it had the most interesting and powerful message ever. Do you pick the love that is purely physical in satisfaction (but nothing more) or do you pick the love that is so emotionally gratifying (although barely physical). It was so moving and just really written well and really laid it all out there for you. So nice. Go and see it.

2.) RENT: Holy God. Those of you who know me, know that I've probably seen this musical like 76 times in person. We were there, Wednesday night, first people in the theater, ready to see it. Everyone else thought I was nuts, but by the time it started it was more than full and we had perfect seats. I'll recommend the movie, but if you see it you have to promise me you'll see the actual play. The movie leaves out some little songs that they change to dialogue. Some stuff is left out totally, and Rosario Dawson makes me want to vomit uncontrollably. Also, Maureen was sick. But still I will see it 54 times in the theater. Buy the double disk CD (screw the greatest hits single cd). It is such a powerful movie that makes you appreciate love, friendship and the simple struggles it takes to live alive.

Well, that's about all for now. Just got home from the chiefs game. Really awesome. Beat those Pats.
And when it poured, we were just under the overhang..

Well hello there. I've had a request to blog from Scott, proud owner of the new "Stabbin' Cabbin".
(keep your wood floors)

I don't have any will to write. Here are my problems:
1.) Work. Kill me know. Wait, no, assign me to coordinate a massive project, send out a month of worth of emails to basically everyone that works on a magazine within the company, and then DON'T copy me on that e-mail. It will be so much better when I just start getting random calls and emails, wanting things done now. Thank god for the Deleted Items holding area. Tack on another 4 magazines all over 100 pages and just kiss me goodbye.

2.) Massive head problems. Not the shear size of my head, somewhere, inside there, I am getting POUNDING headaches. That have also decided to creep into my eye sockets. Those of you who know me, know that when it comes to my eyes, I would be perfectly happy just wearing goggles to protect mine. This pain does not stop. From wake-up to bedtime, it's there and majorly sucking. Been to 4 doctors and finally a dentist. We're gonna take the wisdom teeth out. December 13th and I'm basically crying. Yuck yuck yuck. So yeah, that should be sweet.

In other news, I've booked a ticket to MJ land and the Chicagoland with pal Steph Jones Coleman. Can. not. wait. Tonight my pal Jenny Harman is coming up to view Omaha. Boy are we gonna show her a weekend. Other than that, ah, it's thanksgiving? I bought a sweet Christmas runner yesterday at my favorite store, I've been burping a lot lately, and it's already snown 5 inches in my current place of residence. Oh, and I almost threw up on a treadmill wednesday.

Also, may I say that Laguna Beach finale was worse than ever possibly imagined. Booring. 30 minutes of goodbyes only to find out that my life has been blessed by a new show called the Hills.

And hey, Clay from the Apprentice, Tommy Mattola called, he wants his record producer title back. Harry Connick, Jr. is obviously more popular.

Time for coffee city.

Omaha. . Land of Possibility
(but maybe a tad too country for me.)

Necessary shout out to Schragalicious for winning the lifetime lottery of my friendship.

Also, necessary message to the raping pain in my temple. You are ruining my life.
If I need to get my teeth pulled for you, you're not getting any Christmas presents.

Ok, let's begin. How are you all doing. Swimmingly I hope. Stuff is going okay here. My Chiefs pulled out the most awesomest win against those dirty Raiders, work is making me want to drop a car on myself, and my parents still haven't come and visited me.

Me and Brian had a great first Halloween together. Carved these bad boys:

And, I got the typical rash from scooping the goop out. But I believe I schooled Brian in the art of pumpkin craftmenship. Slow and steady wins the race.

I was in Kansas City most of last week, which was mighty fine with me. Got to see a Samples concert with dear associate, Jenny Harman. Ate the Silver Spoon Egg and Cheese on a biscuit. Saw Stephen call his lunch salad, "naughty" and stab it with his fork. Stephen also asked for Chips. The non-english speaking waitress handed him Cajun Crawtator chips. Seriously. Not regular flavored ones like Jenny got.

This weekend the KU Jayhawks delivered a supreme victory over the Huskers. No one was prouder than I. After moving up here, I was made very aware, that even if you lived in the very furthest point away from Lincoln, you will pledge your blood to the Huskers. Outside our apartment complex, we fly six husker flags on each side of the American one. And they are all at a higher mast. So on game days, I wear my Crimson and Blue. And we freaking did it.
We have no offense and we tattooed them. And to the state of Nebraska, I say EAT IT.

A large what what to Joe for having us up to his Lincoln man palace for the night:
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

The man cooked us steaks and hot corn. Even turned the futon down for us. He took us around downtown Lincoln.

Iguana, Sandy's (where the college folk drink large pitchers of an OJ mixed barf drink), a local bar,
and to the Grapevine where I took a picture of a crotch shot/butt chin..

"That is NOT, photography Misty Woodward."

So, after some sweet DeLeon's Mexican greatness (6$), we went to bed and woke up the next morning to eat Red Robin and go to an antique mall. All day, I had foul odors coming out of my nether region. Things are sweet lately.

Fondly,
